One Fish, Two Fish

One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish by Dr. Seuss was one of my favorite books to read as a child.

It was probably because my mother is obsessed with seafood and she passed her taste buds for it on to me.

But I ‘m not mad at it. Fish, in particular, has done my body good!

The food is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, a valuable source for brain and immune health as well as prevention against cancer.

The American Heart Association even suggests at least two servings of fish per week will help prevent heart disease, lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of heart attack, strokes, and cardiovascular disease.

It is wonderful to add to any diet, given that it is low in fat, and high in protein. You don’t have to buy it fresh to receive the same benefits either. The same omega-3 in a can is the same you can get straight from the market.
